At a certain age children begin to ask lots of questions. Make sure you listen carefully to what they are saying and do your best to answer all their questions.
It is a way to show them that being curious and learning is fun. Listening is another way of showing that you care about them. Even when kids are asking for something they can’t have or is hard to explain, they need an answer and a simple explanation.
Make a special notebook where you can write the questions down. After a while talk to them about their quests, listen to what they say about it, ask them if they remember about an interesting topic.
Listening is a two way road with benefits for both parts. By listening you develop the “listening skill” which will highly benefit your career as a caregiver. By being listened, children feel loved and confident. It will help their learning process as well as their social interactions.
